The Retreat Hair Studio is one of St Andrew’s Hospice’s hidden gems. It offers a tranquil setting for our inpatients, outpatients and the public to relax and rejuvenate, combining cuts and colours with a truly personalised service.

We are open to all, and tailor our services to support the needs of those who are vulnerable in our community. Our team of professional stylists are experienced in working with those with complex emotional, mental and physical needs.

Our hair salon can be adapted to accommodate any requirements, including accessibility for wheelchairs and large medical equipment. We can also close blinds and doors to create a darker, more private space for those who feel vulnerable in a conventional salon environment.

Whether you are looking for a new haircut, guidance on wig fitting or maintenance, information and advice post or during medical intervention, a change of hair colour or just a trim, our team are ready to provide the personalised service you need.
